Privacy Policy

Last updated · June 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Scout collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Scout GPU compute platform (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email address, company, and authentication credentials.
  • Billing information — payment method details (handled by our payment processor), billing address, and invoice history.
  • Usage information — instances reserved, accelerators used, region, duration, and metering data needed to bill and operate the Service.
  • Support and communications — messages you send us, waitlist form responses, and related metadata.
  • Technical information — IP address, browser type, device information, and log data when you access the Service.

We do not access the contents of your workloads in the normal course of operating the Service. We may access logs or metadata to investigate abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the Service, authenticate users, process payments, communicate with you, detect and prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and operate our business.

3. Sharing

We share information with:

  • Third-party infrastructure providers who operate the underlying compute, network, and data center capacity used to deliver the Service. Information shared is limited to what is necessary to provision and operate your instances.
  • Service providers who help us run the Service, including payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and customer support.
  • Legal and safety — where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Scout, our users, or the public.
  • Corporate transactions — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encrypted storage of credentials, principle of least privilege for internal access, and per-tenant isolation for compute instances. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or from the Service.

5. Data retention

We retain account, billing, and usage information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us through the support page on the Service.

7. International transfers

The Service is operated globally and information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you reside. We use appropriate safeguards where required by law.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email.

9. Contact
